Jo Tyrrell, artist, photographer and film maker called in to the NBG office today to tell us all about her new film ‘Watching Water’.
Filmed in Southern California and on the North Shore of Oahu, ‘Watching Water’ sets out to explore the visceral essence of surfing. The sounds, the solitude, the friendships formed, the experience of being in the ocean and living ultimately by its rules.
We have been ‘blown away’ by this film, it’s raw, it’s gritty and somehow just manages to capture the true essence of some truly outstanding surfers.

It may well be over 3 years old now but this really has got to be one of ‘the best ever’ viral marketing videos… with well over 1million views to date, its creation was pure genius.
