O’Neill

NBG is managing all aspects of sponsorship and promotion for Team KC2012, a kitesurfing team that will attempt a Guinness World Record in Spring 2012.

As part of the sponsorship negotiation, NBG secured O’Neill as a team sponsor for the challenge. O’Neill will not only support the KC2012 Team with technical clothing products but have included one of their own Pro Kitesurfers (Ryan Coot, Ireland) to strengthen the team and assist with planning and logistics.

NBG will also be visiting the home beaches of Ryan Coot in Ireland. Our team will be producing a short video documentary to capture and record the teams training and the intensity and harshness of kitesurfing in the Irish winter sea.

A little bit about the O’Neill brand…

O’Neill the original Californian surf, snow and lifestyle brand, was founded in 1952 when a young man named Jack O’Neill took his unstoppable passion for surfing at used it to beat mother nature at her own game. Pioneering the world’s first neoprene wetsuit, Jack had successfully found a way to extend his surf sessions in the bone-chilling breaks of Northern California. O’Neill will be supporting our team and kitting us out, enabling us to keep warm whilst training this winter.
